Ubuntu method for extending LVM root directory

Ubuntu Server 16.04 to 18.10

1. ssh into the system, switch to root and run cfdisk
       # cfdisk

How to change Joomla Admin Folder Name or Path

That changing the folder name ‘administrator’ to ‘myadmin” & change the , 

 

     define( ‘JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR’, JPATH_ROOT.DS.’administrator’ );  to
     define( ‘JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR’, JPATH_ROOT.DS.’myadmin’ );

In the ‘includes->defines.php’ & ’administrator->includes->defines.php’ doesn create some problem in thired party component.

So finally I found another trick which work for me, is as below.

1. Create a new directory in your root directory (eg. “myadmin”)
2. Create an index.php file in your “myadmin” directory..

3. Add this to the beginning of index.php in real administrator folder

Make it executable with
 chmod 755 /etc/rc.local

Reload systemd
 systemctl daemon-reload

 Enable the service
 systemctl enable sok-startup.service

Setting up Flask and Apache on Ubuntu 18.04 Server

Setup Python3 Environment

First, update apt-get.

$ sudo apt-get update

Python3 installed.

$ sudo apt-get install python3-pip

Get virtualenv.

$ pip3 install virtualenv

Create the project folder.

$ mkdir flaskproject

Set up the virtual environment.

$ cd flaskproject
$ virtualenv venv

Activate the environment (use deactivate to exit the environment).

$ . venv/bin/activate

Install MySQL

apt install mysql-server

Install PHP

apt install php-fpm php-mysql

Install PHPMYADMIN

apt install phpmyadmin

Error #1698 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'
$ sudo mysql -u root -p
$ ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password BY 'new-password';
$ sudo service mysql restart

หลังจากแก้ไขค่าเสร็จแล้ว สั่งให้ network ทำงานใหม่ ใช้คำสั่ง 

sudo netplan apply
